RYAN BURTON – Co-Founder / Technical Director

Ryan has 10 years’ experience in product design and manufacturing engineering. He studied Civil Environmental Engineering at the University of Edinburgh and also an HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Ryan was Lead In-house Engineer in the design and application of battery management systems for the manufacture of intelligent lithium-ion batteries. Some project examples include marine propulsion systems and electric motorcycles.

Ryan has installed conventional grid-tied solar photovoltaic systems from small 4kW domestic installations, to larger 50kW commercial installations.

JAMES WOODS – Director of Installations (Senior lead)

James has 30 years + of extensive experience at all voltage levels to 400kV in all areas of the UK, Ireland and Europe. As a full-time employee with Northern Ireland Electricity at Senior management level. Scottish Power at Senior management level and as a contractor with UK Power Networks.

A proven track record and a broad management experience within a DNO environment controlling budgets and manpower also with operational issues on a day-to-day and strategy level. James also have long experience of contract work with the added constraints of time and cost for substation construction. He has managed staff and construction works at 400kV and 275kV with open bar and GIS substations.

WILLIAM Mc QUILTER – Co founder / Sales Director

Between 1986 & 2006 William founded & built a company which employed 25 members of staff during its 20 years of trading with multinational blue-chip companies.
From 2013 until 2017 he has been working in the low energy & renewable energy sectors developing a high level of sales for infra-red heating panels and air source heat pump systems.
William has vast experience in selling at board level with a high level of industry knowledge.

DAMIEN ANDERSON – Production Director

Damien has over 25 years’ experience in commercial & industrial electronics design & manufacture. This includes the assembly of energy storage systems (ESS), battery generators & the construction of low voltage control panels.

His experience also includes the manufacturing of control panel & generator changeover controls as well as 110-volt transformers, relays, and contactor design. Highly experienced in costing projects ensuring the business is secured whilst retaining high-profit margins.

In addition, many years’ experience in domestic, commercial & industrial installations, including Solar PV and ESS.

CHRISTOPHER STACK – CEO

Christopher has extensive experience in marketing, sales support & management. He has worked at sales director level in the low energy heating sector, selling at board level to distributors, housing associations, the public sector, and property developers. He has 4 years experience in developing and commercialising energy storage products, with sales in Malawi, Kenya, Zambia, Gambia, and the UK.

Also as CEO of Sun Harvester he has successfully taken a concept to R&D , prototype and through to commercialisation, including a Government funded Micro-grid project in Nigeria, and medical facility solar storage projects in Tanzania, and Malawi.

Christopher has a passion to eliminate energy poverty worldwide whilst reducing Carbon emissions. In June 2020 Christopher was selected to join Cambridge University’s business School, under the entrepreneurial ignite programme which was funded by The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
